Aug. 13th, 2006 02:57 pmFeeling less despairing today, as I now have
a) groceries
b) PAAAAAAAAAAD THHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII! (noodles, tofu, dried shrimp, lime, cilantro, bean sprouts, peanuts, chili & sugar, mmmmmm.)
c) talked to my mother about Life Issue A and sorted stuff out with her
d) a job and more specifically, my job HOURS
e) a bit of a better idea of my course load next year
f) two shirts that are work appropriate (read; with a collar)
g) the first six pages of my Jesus of Douglas Street (turning out to be a one-act)
h) bandaged my toe where it got cut
i) done laundry
j) bought GOOD BREAD.
k) finished No Exit
l) taken two liquid advil for my headache
m) replaced the neighbor's water cooler that my brother broke by dragging it over a rock
n) met up with two old friends from school (one of whom has gone very very gay, which was funny to see. *loves on them*)
o) decided on a birthday present for Bgee
p) gotten the stains out of an old towel. Why I bothered I don't know, but the stains are gone
q) come OFF my period, which just is a whole world of good. It's like taking off skates or ski boots or something
r) gone to visit DAEWOO to bitch at them about their train
s) brushed the burrs out of the cat
t) read 'Queen Mab's Coachman' and fallen in love with Mercutio all over again
u) watched the first disk of the season 1 of 'House' and fallen in love with Hugh Laurie all over again
v) biked up to Shoppers Drug Mart for milk, chocolate and green tea. The chocolate thereby negating all the good the biking could have done.
w) framed a photo of me and my little brother and hung it
x) recieved FLOWERS!!!!!!!!! From my aunt, but still exciting
y) convinced my mother that breaking up with her girlfriend because she thought people would judge them for being lesbians was a STUPID idea, as it's the girlfriends family doing the judging, they're in Singapore, and though Nora needs to know it's okay with my mum, it's not my mum's place to make that decision for her
z) made a list of all the cool things I've done over the weekend!
