Hypothetical Situation

You wake up, it's Saturday morning. Everything's strangely quiet outside. The world is peaceful. You come downstairs. Your family is out of town for the weekend, so it's just you in the house.

You turn on the TV.



Immediately flashes on news bulletins, on every channel. Emergency broadcasts. Weird virus. You know the drill.

Zombies. In your city. Footage of them racing around eating shit in an area you recognize but is not too traumatically near your house.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I lock the doors, barricade them, move everything that could be handy- food etc- upstairs, and then break the stairs down with a sledgehammer!

First, get the field hockey stick. Throw some food in a bag. Call my friends and tell them where to meet me. Jump in the car and head for the library (which is conveniently near supply-raiding centers, but off of the main road). Set up barricades and hunker down for the long haul.

Alternatively! Set up shop on the roof of the high school--tall enough so it's out of zombie reach but scalable for humans. With tents and a sniper rifle, could be quite cozy.

Load my gun. Load my other gun. Asses distance from my place to nearest source of ammunition. Give Beth a gun. Load selves into car. Get to nearest source of ammunition. Max out credit cards for both guns. Return to car. Drive south 2.5 hours (unless that is through Zombie territory). Hole up with parents, and assorted land-for-farming, guns, and other emergency needs.
