You always ask/tell very clearly and specifically when your pup is about to do anything with ANY lasting effects (probably even emotional trauma. I tend to ping even before Random bitches someone out) and spell things out clearly and nicely to the mun. There's never any knowing if you're stepping on upcoming plot otherwise, if you're making someone really uncomfortable, if you're making a prethreaded oom set to be posted that night imposible...

It's common courtesy. And for something like shooting?
It's the RULES. No violence without permission. Maybe something like a bitchslap, yes, but you're not allowed to God it into connecting. You have to say something like 'she raises her hand to take a swipe at him.' For something like SHOOTING?

It also depends how well you know the mun. Write and I? (Write being Ramon mun) have been threading together solidly for about a year. Satan has set Jack on fire before without ooc chat, because Satan ALWAYS sets Jack on fire and she knows it's never going to be a problem.

How well do you know CJ mun is the question you have to answer for yourself, I guess.

Not that well, really. Not well enough to have this happen. I mean, me and Susan still let each other know if Sands is going to hit Mal, or Mal hit Sands, or whatever, and like I said that was the only warning I got.

Who's the mun, may I ask? As in, do they have an AIM screen name or who else do they play? I've been around here long enough (over a year) to know most of the trouble makers.

My recomendation would be either to ping them, if you're on AIM, or send them a private email saying it made you
-really uncomfortable
-that you didn't feel like you were warned enough. Are glad they tried, but to please be a lot more clear next time.
-Remind them that between pup violence can get serious, especially for a vampire, and should always be talked out ooc.

Only go for the modly hammer of doom if they pull that shit again.

Just be sure to keep it polite. Odds are, she'll be v. v. apologetic, most sane people are when you call them on it. Likely she thought she was being clearer than she actually was, you know?

That doesn't make it remotely appropriate, but just something to keep in mind while dealing with her. You'll probably come out friends on the other side if you can keep your cool now.

And if she's mean to you? Then you politely inform her that in that case, Mal will be going to Security and getting the fucker Locked Up for a Very Long Time.

Everyone tends to think of him as REALLY REALLY NICE. And were all very surprised when he shacked up with Ramon. And said he was misguided and Ramon was wrong for him and it would never last.

Poor Martin, though. He and Random are going to sit down and talk some issues out soon.

But Ramon is just so perfect for him.

Yes. Mind you, within the first month of them being together, he had run away and tortured someone half to death then got his ass landed in the cells. Random being the one who tracked him down, choked him unconscious, and then stalked him and locked him up.

Then broke up with him in the cells. Then got back together with him when Ramon accepted a curse that would make him feel all the pain he'd ever caused.

Then broke up with him again when Ramon said something that made him think he didn't love him. Then got back together with him when Ramon proved, emphatically, that he DID.

And that was three months in by then, as Ramon was locked up for a month and cursed with that pain for a month... but surviving that? Made them SO STRONG.

No kidding.

So far we've had mindrape, physical assult, more mindrape, shooting, stabbing, snarking, and threats.

Oh, and mindrape.

One of them needs to do something to HELP the other. Claustrophobic Random sat in the cells with Ramon for LOADS of the first month, and stayed basically at his side for ALL of the second one, holding him when things got bad.

We should have some Plot. With Random thrown in and LESS DEATH. Possibly working together for a change.

Dude, lets use the life debt as part of it. And Mal's canon. Something nasty happens in canon, she asks Sands to come too. And possibly drags Ramon in, which drags Random in, and then BAM. We have a quest.

Any kind of ritual/quest/avoidance thingy she could go through? Something as simple as a flood in the place she calls home and needing some help in relocation of dangerous/mundane/whatever things. Or maybe Santino as a part of it.

Which would be great, actually, as it'd bring the DEBT really into play. As Random would gladly help Mal, but would rather chew tinfoil than help Santino.

Hmmm. Lessee. Home is pretty much open to EVERYTHING. Lemme think. Sounds good, though!

What I'm thinking is they need a traveller. Which is how Random comes in. He can get them anywhere, anywhen, and if that made it safer for Ramon, he would, too.

Hokay. Well, due to war, what about relocation of refugees? That would work with Random, though I'm not sure how Sands would be involved.

Oh, oh! Ramon could make Sands come along to help as part of his debt? That'd be killing two birds with one stone. Though it'd have to be something unpleasant to satisfy Ramon, methinks.

If Parker mun was about, I'd ask that they spring him from prison, but I think she's gone and there's probably a plot for that. Maybe someone else important ends up in prison? Or somewhere trapped?

You know, if you read the above comment, it could very well be SANDS who was stuck somewhere and needed the bitter couple to help Mal come spring him.

If it was dangerous enough, that could knock off Ramon's lifedebt. And it could be Mal helping Sands. Which is the kind of NICE CONSTRUCTIVE thing that's good for people. Heck, if she was hurt in the effort, we could even get Random shoving her into Sands' arms and saying 'if she gets shot, it's YOUR FAULT, now get into the van' while pulling out a gun to give them a bit of cover.
