Another dark!smut. Don't blame me, blame Jack. It's all his fault. But there it. Slash, I'm giving it a hard R for indications of Jack's and Belial's TYPICAL interactions, reflected in what I've ficced.
This is disturbingly close to what they really do.
Every time Jack told himself he would not fight.
But each word spoken from a laughing and bitter mouth to cause pain of course, each word spoken could sting like a spark, and each spark thrown from an idle flick to the tip of the cigarette…
Each time he said he would snarl nor snipe back, nor heal what was broken, nor freeze the melted.
And every time he holds his own, suffers for it again, he tells himself he will not run this time. And that he will not cave, nor cry, nor make any sound.
…as now. Fingers tapping as off, sending it across the legs and bare hands of the frostling and causing him to shriek and run and he’s broken another promise to himself.
Lying is, as Belial said, a sin.
But this was different, because this is in bed, and he has told himself that he will not moan this time.
And then he does, and Belial laughs, and he is drowning in his sin.
And this time, he admits it to himself.
He loves it.
