Santino told Jack to take a hint and fuck off (three and a half weeks ago) after he was trying to find out why Santino bit Lethe. Jack assumed he meant forever and in general and has only in the last couple of days been approached by him again.
He doesn't much know what to think, given that Santino hugged him on my return.

Jack knows NOTHING about people. His closest friends are Mercutio, Santino, Lethe, Room the Rhymer and Parker. The only people he's ever had serious relationships (if that's what you want to call them) with are Mercutio (swinger) and Satan (...dude. SATAN.)

You always ask/tell very clearly and specifically when your pup is about to do anything with ANY lasting effects (probably even emotional trauma. I tend to ping even before Random bitches someone out) and spell things out clearly and nicely to the mun. There's never any knowing if you're stepping on upcoming plot otherwise, if you're making someone really uncomfortable, if you're making a prethreaded oom set to be posted that night imposible...

It's common courtesy. And for something like shooting?
It's the RULES. No violence without permission. Maybe something like a bitchslap, yes, but you're not allowed to God it into connecting. You have to say something like 'she raises her hand to take a swipe at him.' For something like SHOOTING?

It also depends how well you know the mun. Write and I? (Write being Ramon mun) have been threading together solidly for about a year. Satan has set Jack on fire before without ooc chat, because Satan ALWAYS sets Jack on fire and she knows it's never going to be a problem.

How well do you know CJ mun is the question you have to answer for yourself, I guess.

Not that well, really. Not well enough to have this happen. I mean, me and Susan still let each other know if Sands is going to hit Mal, or Mal hit Sands, or whatever, and like I said that was the only warning I got.

Who's the mun, may I ask? As in, do they have an AIM screen name or who else do they play? I've been around here long enough (over a year) to know most of the trouble makers.

My recomendation would be either to ping them, if you're on AIM, or send them a private email saying it made you
-really uncomfortable
-that you didn't feel like you were warned enough. Are glad they tried, but to please be a lot more clear next time.
-Remind them that between pup violence can get serious, especially for a vampire, and should always be talked out ooc.

Only go for the modly hammer of doom if they pull that shit again.

Just be sure to keep it polite. Odds are, she'll be v. v. apologetic, most sane people are when you call them on it. Likely she thought she was being clearer than she actually was, you know?

That doesn't make it remotely appropriate, but just something to keep in mind while dealing with her. You'll probably come out friends on the other side if you can keep your cool now.
